Mock Trial Competition at Stroudsburg HS

The Mock Trial team had a competition on Saturday (11.17.2007) at the Stroudsburg High School. They won 3 trials and lost 1, which is the best they have ever done at this competition. Zak Pyzik took an award for best lawyer, which is the third year in a row that he has accomplished this. He has a very bright future in law and many judges and lawyers in Monroe county have given him great advice and look forward to seeing him working here in the future.

  • Adriana Lopes
  • Zak Pyzik
  • Casey Drake
  • Casey Fannell
  • Brian Moore

Urbane's Workshop with Phillip Mentor

Last week, many of our schools were lucky enough to have their music students work with Mr. Phillip Mentor, an opera singer from the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC.

Attached are 2 photos of Mr. Mentor working with the Urbane Gospel Choir students at WHS. The students learned so much in the hour-long presentation/workshop....and this past weekend when Urbane sang in PHiladelphia for a childhood-cancer research fundraiser, they received 2 ENCORES!

Urbane will be performing this Sunday morning at the Mount Pocono Methodist Church Service at 9:30.
